Below is an excerpt from my new book that's being Illustrated by Mike Motz now.
A bright blueberry light lit up the train tracks that led out of the town of Jaloonsville. People stood up and looked through their windows, amazed at the sight. Sheldon Bilberry, the train conductor for the Midnight Blueberry Express, was so happy to do his job that he tipped his hat to everyone he saw. The freight train was headed to his blueberry farm in Buron Park to stock up with blueberries for the town’s markets the next day.The whistle blew—“Whoooooo … hoooo!”—as the train chugged through the countryside.
